The Advanced Compliance Education: Certification Renewal Program provides advanced education to experienced compliance professionals while meeting all of the educational requirements to renew their CCP or CCE credential. The design of this program was driven by HET members and the Trust’s Education Committee.
Simply put, virtually all compliance education offered today is at an introductory or undergraduate level. Through the Certification Renewal Course, HET aims to meet the educational needs of the experienced compliance professional workforce.
The program will focus on more in-depth compliance topics such as how to influence a cultural change in your organization based on ethics and compliance, defining and addressing new and emerging compliance risks and challenges, and introduction to tools, resources and approaches that will help address these new risks.
This program will feature a guest faculty of experienced compliance professionals and selected compliance experts.
The Certification Renewal course is the most cost effective way for compliance professionals to renew their certification as all educational requirements are met by attending this three-day course. Not only can CCPs and CCEs renew their credential in one sitting; those with certifications through other organizations can upgrade their credentials to the CCP or CCE through this course.
We are offering a special tuition rate for employees of the Veterans Administration and employees of colleges and universities. Thus, tuition is $1,500 for VA and academics, $2,000 for members, and $3,000 for non-members.
Our certification programs began before other folks could spell 'compliance.' Our credentialing programs continue to grow within stable basic assumptions:
- Individuals of many backgrounds (law, ethics, accounting, audit, theology, business, military and law enforcement) become effective compliance officers. This diversity is a positive attribute of the field.
- Certification is an objective, independent process intended to raise the status of compliance as a field of professional endeavor.
- Certification has both educational and experiential components.
- Ethics and integrity are essential to the success of compliance professionals.
