Certification Intensive Course • March 15-17, 2010 • San Diego, California

The Health Ethics Trust's set of Certified Compliance Professional (CCP) credentials are designed to provide compliance professionals with the broad-based, recognized professional certification that they need for success. It was the first compliance certification in the business and serves a very broad constituency. It is now possible to attain the CCP with specializations in health plan compliance, research compliance, behavioral health compliance and VHA compliance along with the general CCP credential.

The cost effective way to attain certification is to complete the Certification Intensive Course in San Diego. Attendees will have satisfied all course requirements for the Trust's CCP credential and need only pass the essay exam. The exam is customized to the area in which the attendee seeks certification. Attendees must declare their certification preference prior to the course.

We are offering a special tuition rate for employees of the Veterans Administration and employees of colleges and universities. Thus, tuition is $3,000 for non-members, $2,000 for members and $1,500 for VHA and academics.

This program will be held at CareFusion Corporate Headquarter’s education center. Accommodations are close by at the Hilton Garden Inn San Diego Del Mar. This location provides the perfect setting to enjoy your visit to beautiful San Diego during your free time. Both the beach and Torrey Pines State Park are a few minutes away. San Diego is an ideal city to explore world class beaches, restaurants, nightlife and day time activities such as the famous San Diego Zoo.

Our certification program began before other folks could spell 'compliance.' Our credentialing programs continue to grow within these basic assumptions:

    1. Individuals of many backgrounds (law, ethics, accounting, audit, theology, business, military and law enforcement) have proven to be effective compliance officers.

    2. Certification is an objective, independent process intended to raise the status of compliance as a field.

    3. Certification has both educational and experiential components.

    4. Ethics and integrity are essential to the success of compliance professionals.

Who Should Attend?
- CCO's and other Compliance Professionals, Auditors, Investigators, Legal Counsel, Human Resource Professionals, Trainers, and Educators.

- All participants will have an opportunity at the end of day 3 to complete the Certified Compliance Professional (CCP) application and essay exam.
