Annual Best Practices Colloquium

June 11 & 12, 2012
Washington, DC

About the Colloquium:
In 2010 the Trust created the Annual Best Practices Colloquium to complement the Best Compliance Practices Forum, recognized as the leading compliance educational event of the year.

The Colloquium makes proven best practices accessible in a collegial setting. The Colloquium is not another lecture style program. Prior Best Practices winners, Fellows of the Trust, and noted compliance leaders are invited to do brief presentations (“posters”) on their winning practices to stimulate round table discussions with attendees. Past year’s faculty included John Ciavardone, Fellow of the Trust, VP for Quality Compliance, NHS Human Services; Tish Breeding, Fellow of the Health Ethics Trust, Chief Integrity Compliance Officer, Covenant Health; two representatives of MedStar Health; Nathan Hunt, Ethics and Compliance Manager, WellPoint; and several representatives of the VHA - among many others.

The Colloquium is also an opportunity for those who intend to make submissions for the Annual Best Practices Forum to get feedback on their proposed practice. Those who have previewed their Best Practice submissions report having greatly benefited from the feedback received.

The Colloquium carries one and one half days (12 points) of credit towards the Certified Compliance Professional (CCP) and Certified Compliance Executive (CCE) credentials.
