The Executive Certification Course (ECC) is an annual course offered to chief compliance officers of an organization, business unit (hospital, plan region) or operational area such as research, government operations or home care. ECC attendees complete all course and written requirements for the Certified Compliance Executive (CCE) credential, the highest level credential in healthcare compliance. Only a small number of senior compliance professionals attain the CCE credential each year and are recognized at the Annual Healthcare Best Compliance Practices each fall.

Who Should Attend: ECC is intended for those who have already achieved a basic level of compliance competency. However, qualified individuals who have not achieved a basic certification can attend the program to meet requirements for the Trust's Certified Compliance Professional (CCP) credential. Board members are welcome at half tuition if attending with their Chief Compliance Officer.

Content: In addition to the core topics of interest to chief compliance officers, there will be special emphasis on such topics as advanced investigation techniques, research compliance issues, governance and board relationships, improving internal reporting operations, risk assessment methods and budget issues.

As always, the Trust will make available a limited number of partial tuition scholarships on a need and qualifications basis. Additionally, you can combine your tuition payment with an individual or organizational membership (or renewal) to achieve the lowest member tuition rate.
