The Executive Certification Course (ECC) is offered to chief compliance officers of an organization, functional area (research, government operations) or business unit. ECC allows attendees to complete all course and written requirements for the Certified Compliance Executive (CCE), the highest level credential in healthcare compliance. Only a small number of senior compliance professionals attain the CCE credential each year. Individuals looking to complete their Certified Compliance Professional (CCP) credential are also welcome to attend.
This program is normally held once per calendar year.
Old Town Alexandria makes the perfect setting for this course, attendees are minutes away from the attractions in the nation’s capital as well as the new National Harbor. Trust staff will assist each enrollee with hotel accommodations and local activities.
Intended Audience: ECC is intended for those who have already achieved a basic compliance certification through the Trust or another accredited entity. However, qualified individuals who have not achieved basic certification can attend the program to meet requirements for the Trust’s Certified Compliance Professional (CCP) credential.
In addition to the core topics of interest to most chief compliance officers, there will be special emphasis on such topics as advanced investigation techniques, research compliance, governance and board relationships, improving internal reporting operations, compliance risk assessment methods and budgeting issues.
A limited number of partial scholarships are available. This course is offered in a vendor-free learning environment as per Health Ethics Trust standard practice.
HET Cancellation Policy
Registration for Health Ethics Trust courses is an agreement to pay the applicable course tuition. Tuition for cancellations prior to the cancellation deadline is refunded less an administrative fee to be determined. Tuition for cancellation after the cancellation deadline is not refunded, but a credit towards a future Trust program (tuition less the administrative fee; must be used within 12 months) will be issued in some cases. Those who cancel after the cancellation deadline must still pay the tuition that they agreed to pay by registering for the course even if they have not yet paid their tuition at the time of cancellation. Cancellation Policy is strictly enforced.
