Organizational Membership Information
About the Health Ethics Trust
In response to growing ethics and compliance concerns in healthcare, the Council of Ethical Organizations formed the Health Ethics Trust in 1995. The purpose of the Trust is to assist healthcare organizations and individuals committed to ethical and legal conduct through educational programs, research, and shared best practices. The Health Ethics Trust sponsors a full agenda of ethics and compliance activities – such as the annual Healthcare Best Compliance Practices Forum. Trust members also have full privileges as members of the Council of Ethical Organizations.
HET Organizational Membership
Organizational Membership in the Health Ethics Trust represents an organizational commitment to ethical and legal conduct. Unlike other memberships, ALL employees of an HET member organization may participate in HET programs and access HET resources. Members direct HET’s service activities including educational programs, research, and educational liaison activities through a variety of committees.
No other organizational membership offers as broad an array of benefits as the HET organizational membership. Membership benefits include priority participation in member programs, audio/web conferences, access to HET’s Benchmark Resources, access to members only section of HET web site, peer consulting, reduced tuition for all courses and publications, and reduced charge for certification application and renewal.
